The clock sounds out a steady rhythm Tick-tock tick-tock As the seconds slowly drift by I clench the pencil tightly in my hand I can't seem to figure out where to start And where to end My thoughts drift in and out, each as random and stupid as the next My mind is vacant, no matter how hard i attempt to put down a coherent thought Its just so sickeningly impossible I want to gouge out my eyes with this yellow # 2 And thrust it through into my brain, in an attempt to stab some sense into it I'm so tired of this This writer's block is driving me insane
